Leidos awarded a $10 million contract by U.S. Army Communications Electronics Command (CECOM)
Leidos was awarded a prime task order by the U.S. Army Communications Electronics Command (CECOM) to provide operation and maintenance support to the Software Engineering Center (SEC) for the Property Book Unit Supply Enhanced (PBUSE) system. The single-award, cost-plus, fixed-fee task order has a one year base period of performance, two one year options and a total contract value of approximately $10 million (€9.04 million) if all options are exercised.

The CECOM SEC performs post production software support, equipment and implementation, customer support, system enhancement and technology insertion. The PBUSE system provides property accountability for all U.S. Army accountable items and is essential to the Army's management, planning and readiness determination. Under the contract, Leidos will provide full operation and maintenance support for the PBUSE system.

CECOM specializes in communications-electronics systems and equipment, to include setting up headquarters and command and tactical operations centers in remote areas to installing and maintaining communications systems in vehicles and aircraft. CECOM also provides training activities, field support for modifications and upgrades, and logistical expertise.
