This prototype is analogous to a lite version of a U.S. Mine-Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) vehicle. The “Kozak” is the first prototype of its kind designed by “Practika” in Kyiv, Ukraine.

Meeting Ukrainian Class 4 standards for armoring, the vehicle is built on an IVECO chassis and includes a v-shaped armored hull to guard against anti-personnel mines or other explosives. The Kozak APC can carry up to five equipped soliders.

The Kozac APC is available in four variants: patrol vehicle, recce vehicle, special missions vehicle and mobile command post. B-6 and B-7 armoring protection classes ensures protection against 7.62x51 mm NATO shots. The V-shape bottom protect the vehicle against explosion of 3 kg TNT equivalent. The cross-section tubes assure necessary vital space when the vehicle is turning over. The Kozac is also equipped with radiation reconaissance device, a rear-view camera and parktronik, an intercom between the driver and "the street" and strenghtened sound and noise insulation.
