The
MUSKETEER is a Multirole Light Armored Vehicle (MLAV)
designed to perform extensive range of military
and law enforcement tasks. The vehicle can be configured
for a wide variety of missions for military, homeland
security, law enforcement and urban operation. The
MUSKETEER is presented for the first time at the
Worldwide exhibition of internal State security,
Milipol 2009. The Musketeer is based on the reliable
heavy duty legendary Toyota LandCruiser vehicle,
the Musketeer guarantees the ease of maintenance
and ensure low life cycle cost.
The
Musketter can be fitted with a remote controlled
weapon station armed with weapons up to
12,7 mm calibre.
Protection
The MUSKETEER is constructed of a detachable
armored body, providing passengers with
NATO B6 (STANAG 4569 level 1) ballistic
protection. This can be upgraded to B7 protection
level if requested by a customer. The hull
is protected all around NATO level B6 (STANAG
4569 Level 1), including engine compartment.
The main passenger compartment provides
NATO Level B6 (Stanag 4569). Florr and fuel
tanks are protected against hand grenade
blast. The Musketeer can be fitted with
an optional add-on armour, to obtain a level
of protection Level 3 STANAG 4569.
Propulsion
The Musketeer can be motorised with a 4.2L
6 cylinder OHC Diesel Engine or 4.2 L 6
Cylinder Turbo_Charged Diesel engine coupled
to a 5 speed manual gear box, with HI /
LOW range transfer box.
Accessories
Standard
equipment of Musketeer is composed with
rear observation camera, air conditioning
system, and large cargo compartment. Wheels
are fitted with run-flat inserts system
to provide 50 km additional driving capbility
while tiers are punctured. In option the
Musketeer can be fitted with remote controlled
searchlight, flashing beacon, winch, mesh
windows protection, various weapons mounts,
and navigation system.
