In October 2014, the U.S. subsidiary of British barrier-maker Hesco has entered the body armor business with the acquisition of Reed Composite Solutions.

At Eurosatory 2016, the international land and airland defence and security exhibition in Paris (France), the company presents its new resistant body armour using next generation composite materials, combined with Hesco Armor state-of-the-art processing techniques to give individual armour protection to military and security people with no compromise in operational protection.

The armor plates have been specially engineered for civilian and military protective wears. The Hesco solution uses one of the most lighter and thinner plates available in the market.

Hesco presents also its legendary MIL units used to create barriers for perimeter protection, construct temporary accommodation, and provide high level security control. The Hesco MIL solutions have been used by military organisations including the US Army, UK MOD, USMC, USAF, and NATO in every major conflict since many years.
