Czech small arms manufacturer CZ introduces Scorpion EVO 3A1 submachine gun for Asian market.
Czech Company CZ, one of the main leader in the world for the manufacturing of small arms introduces its new 9mm submachine gun for Asian military market, the CZ SCORPION EVO 3A1 at the Defense & Security 2015, International exhibition in Bangkok, Thailand.
     
     

The Scorpion EVO 3 is a 9mm submachine gun is fully developed, designed and manufactured by Ceská zbrojovka Uherský Brod in either select-fire A1 or semi-automatic S1 variants. It represents one of the most modern submachine gun currently available in the market offering a very light weapons with high level of accuracy.

At Defense & Security 2015, Mister Pavel Ludva, senior sales manager at CZ said "We have a deep tradition of weapons market in Thailand, since ten years Thai police uses our handguns, and now this year, we would like to introduce our Submachine gun Scorpion for the military forces".

The CZ SCORPION EVO 3A1 is a modern submachine gun chambered in 9x19 used by security forces and armies around the world. The weapon is characterised by exceptional ergonomics, durability and ease of use. This submachine gun meets requirements for reliable operation in adverse conditions according to both NATO AC 225/D14, and TPVD 637 – 81. The weapon enables the fire to be conducted in fully automatic fire, three round bursts, and single shots.

No tools are necessary for routine maintenance disassembly. Low weight and small dimensions facilitate concealed carry and use in very confined spaces. Characteristic features of this weapon are a good balance making quick and easy aiming, high accuracy of fire, long service life and high functional reliability under all conditions. The advantages are fully ambidextrous controls and four accessory rails according to MIL-STD-1913 fitted as standard.

During testing, there were no failures of any type. The firearm fed, extracted and ejected without fail, regardless of the ammunition it was fed.

The hand guard is lined with multiple Picatinny Rails which offers many positions for additional equipment such as grips, sights, flashlights and lasers.

The small size of the Scorpion EVO 3A1 allows it to be used in confined spaces and easily transportable making it one of the best product available in the international market for Special Forces units.
