Canadian company Robus Shelters unveils its new 16m diameter shelter at IDEX 2017
ROBUS SHELTERS, developers of the most effcient mobile re-deployable shelter per square meter, have launched their flagship 16m diameter shelter at IDEX 2017. The ROBUS Shelter is transported on its integrated trailer, that deploys without any man-related construction, in less than 10 minutes.

The 16m diameter model is the smallest in their range that currently goes up to 45m diameter, with over 1,600 m2 surface area. This patented technology aims to open a new category, with capability-extending features. Its ability to deploy in the harshest of climates, with a minimum man-power of 1-2 persons.

The shelter has also been field tested up-to 155km/h, and is built to deploy during winds of up-to 60km/h.

The main features of this tent include: Deployment in under 10 minutes. Packaged trailer with storage compartments for a wide range of equipment and accessories. Efficient in arctic conditions with low man-power Self-erecting structure with not tools or construction needed. Qualified as a permanent building, under the Canadian Government Standard. Highly-integratable with various autonomous and rapid deployment defence technologies. High-mobility on the field. Standardized ISO container solutions.

The ROBUS Shelter is designed and developed in Canada, with manufacturing facilities in the USA, Canada, and Italy.
