Turkish Company BMC presents a full range of armoured and tactical vehicles at IDEX 2011.
 
 
Aiming to increase foreign sales of military vehicles, BMC has decided to participate in IDEX-2011, one of the biggest defence industry exhibitions on the world. At IDEX-2011, the Turkish Defence Company BMC will present its last range of Armoured Vehicles, Tactical Wheeled Vehicles and Logistics Support Vehicles.
     
Aiming to increase foreign sales of military vehicles, BMC has decided to participate in IDEX-2011, one of the biggest defence industry exhibitions on the world. At IDEX-2011, the Turkish Defence Company BMC will present its last range of Armoured Vehicles, Tactical Wheeled Vehicles and Logistics Support Vehicles.

BMC, product range includes both wheeled armoured and tactical military vehicles, special requirement complete vehicles, tractor vehicles; heavy, medium and light commercial trucks; vans; minibuses; midibuses; buses; panelvans; combivans; spare parts; engines and cast parts. Besides, having a capability of modernizing armoured vehicles, BMC has realized modernization of BTR 60 (8x8) in year 1994 for Turkish Gendarmerie.

BMC has capability of producing both right hand and left hand drive vehicles, most of them are in serial production.

BMC is in rapid progress towards becoming a world brand with its 22,000 vehicle and engine production capacity Per year and its 3,500 personnel consisting of engineers and workers.

BMC, executes sales, service and spare parts services for all BMC users around more than 70 countries in the same standard.

     
BMC Sanayi ve Ticaret A.S., having been awarded a contract for the design, development and production of MRAPs and Tactical Wheeled Vehicles in March 2009, has recently completed most of the deliveries within this project. The project includes around 2.000 vehicles in 2.5 Ton (4x4), 5 Ton (4x4), 10 Ton (6x6) and MRAP categories.

BMC, being established in 1964, has entered defence industry in 1972, utilising its capability and experience in automotive industry. Since then, more than 1.000 Tactical Wheeled Vehicles and 3.000 Logistics Support Vehicles have been delivered to World Armies, most of them being delivered to Turkish Armed Forces.

BMC Sanayi ve Ticaret A.S., having been awarded a contract for the design, development and production of MRAPs and Tactical Wheeled Vehicles in March 2009, has recently completed most of the deliveries within this project. The project includes around 2.000 vehicles in 2.5 Ton (4x4), 5 Ton (4x4), 10 Ton (6x6) and MRAP categories.

The family of tactical wheeled vehicles of BMC consists of BMC EFE (4x4) 2,5 Ton, BMC 235-16-P(4x4) 5 Ton, BMC 380-26-P(6x6) 10 Ton and BMC 525-44 (8x8) Wheeled Tactical Vehicles.

     
BMC has also entered armoured vehicle market a few years ago and since then has produced prototypes of several MRAPs and APCs. Being awarded the contract for the design, development and production of around 470 MRAPs for Turkish Land Forces Command, BMC has proceeded to serial production phase for MRAPs, named BMC KIRPI (4x4) MRAP. This vehicle has successfully passed severe tests in accordance with NATO standards. With its high ballistic protection, tactical capabilities and seating capacity, BMC KIRPI (4x4) MRAP has already become an important player in the MRAP market.
