The BCB Sandbagger allows many more sandbags to be filled per man-hour, thereby allowing fewer personnel to fill a larger number of sandbags more quickly and helping to protect against blasts, bullets and floods. It also facilitates the filling in the "field" near where the sandbags are needed; hence reducing the logistics burden and again speeding up the protection.

Whilst there are several more sophisticated and costly solutions on the market, these systems can take longer to procure. The sandbagger on the other hand, is a simple and immediate solution, using available
materials and costing very little.

The initial cost of the BCB Sandbagger can realistically be recouped purely in labour savings within a matter of a few days and in some cases a few hours depending on the scale of use. The BCB Sandbagger collapses to aid transportation and storage, and can be erected in seconds. It can be used with synthetic or hessian types of sandbags.
