T815-7, 4x4 with TATRA 325kW, air-cooled engine at the stand in hall P.

At the
outdoor space, there are shown another two trucks, T815-7, 8x8 recovery
vehicle Mammut for recovery of the wheel tactical vehicles and TATRA PHOENIX
6x6, cargo/troop carrier. It’s a “first night” for TATRA PHOENIX 6x6 militarized version at IDET even it has been shown at the international fairs IDEB and EUROSATORY. This truck in typical olive finish is a so-called commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) product. These are vehicles with minimal modifications vis-à-vis the stock version, suitable for operation in demanding off-road conditions. It is especially suited to use for military logistics, for operating in difficult and extremely difficult terrain but also at on-road as a really universal truck and thanks to its purchasing price and operational costs helps to save budgets for the defence logistics groups. |

A
brand-new firefighting special truck TATRA PHOENIX 4x4 with crew-cab is
presented at the stand of special firefighting superstructure builders
– THT Policka in hall Z, as CAS 20 water tender. TATRA chassis,
thanks to independent, air-suspended half axles, offer high transport
speeds both off-road and on-road with high comfort for crew and also for
the superstructure. The vehicle is equipped by 13liter engine Paccar MX
with 265 kW power, 16speed manual ZF transmission while automated AS Tronic
is an option, transfer case TATRA 1.30 TR with the speed ratio 1.28. The
body is produced by THT, s.r.o. in Policka made of aluminum sections which
ensure the superstructures have low weight, high strength and corrosive
resistance. The volume of the tank is 4000 liters and it has also additional
tank for 260 of foaming additives. The heart of THT fire superstructures
is a high-quality pump, together with a foam proportioning, with rated
flow rate 3,000 lpm at 1.0 MPa for low-pressure operations or with rated
flow rate 250 lpm at 4.0 MPa for high-pressure operations. A THTronic
control and checking system equipped with CAN bus and color multifunction
display helps to the operator work safely in multi-tasking operations
and enables to do discordance or dangerous operations. |
