The main gun can be used to fire against light and medium hardened targets, live force and low-flying targets. Increased elevation and angular speed considerably improves efficiency of firing, against static and mobile targets.

Surveillance and targeting systems of the commander and gunner are able to detect and target during day, night and in reduced visibility. The commander is equipped with an independent optoelectronic panoramic surveillance system.

The commander's and gunner's stations are positioned in the combat area in front of the turret. The commander and gunner are both fully capable of controlling the turret, which is supported by the fire control system with an integrated BMS (Battle Management System).
