30-tn MBT TAM, designed by Thyssen Henschel and produced under license in Argentina by the TAMSE factory. Over 200 were produced and actually all are in service in the Argentine Army. It is expected to be upgraded in 2009 with German and indigenous (CITEFA) technology.

The battle tank has only recently be lightly updated by providing the driver and commander with night-vision googles and GPS. It is expected that hydraulic systems for aiming the gun would be replaced by an eletronic systems, reducing the heat signature. Another expected upgrade is the provision of an integral thermic vision system (locally developed by CITEFA) and another improvemements (perhaps a more powerful engine) providing by Thyssen.

This is the Airborne General Purpose Light Vehicle (VLEGA in Spanish) named "Gaucho" after the typical inhabitant of the Argentinian pampas. It was designed as a joint venture with the Brazilian Army and actually serial produced for the Argentinian Army (at least 2000 were ordered).

The inicial variant resembles a down-heighted Jeep. It develops a maximum speed of 120km/h in road and is 4x4. It could be stacked one-on-one for storage in cargo planes for transporting.
