The PMMC G5 has been developed by FFG to meet the requirements of the home and export markets that require a replacement of existing vehicles in their inventory. The vehicle is also designed to carry additional loads thanks to its spacious interior and flexible deployment options.

A special focus in the design of the PMMC G5 was laid on outstanding protection capabilities. Even in the basic configuration the PMMC G5 offers high level integrated mine protection and IED protection, which was up to now only available for vehicles with a much higher gross vehicle weight.

The very high level of protection sets new standards in this weight class: even in its basic configuration, the PMMC G5 provides an exceptionally high level of protection against mines and lEDs. The ballistics protection can be increased with add-on armour with very little effort.

As a key feature, the PMMC G5 can rapidly be fitted with various standardized mission modules to meet different mission requirements. The mission modules can be changed within a few hours.

The PMMC G5 can be fitted with a number of standardised mission modules that are interchangeable within a few hours in the field. In this way, the PMMC G5 can easily be adapted to new tasks. Customers can select the number of base vehicles required and the number and variety of discreet mission modules that are required to achieve a series of missions. Spare mission modules are inexpensively stored in standard ISO containers that are easy to transport.
