Informations générales
Le M106 est un véhicule blindé chenillé léger, basé sur le châssis du véhicule blindé chenillé de transport de troupe M113. Le compartiment arrière a été aménagé pour permettre le transport d'un mortier de 120 mm. Le tir peut se faire depuis l'intérieur du véhicule, deux trappes peuvent s'ouvrir sur le toit du véhicule.
