Le Leopard 1 ARV danois est un véhicule blindé lourd de dépannage. Il utilise le châssis de base du Leopard 1, mais il n'a plus de tourelle. Une grue hydraulique est montée sur le côté droit du toit de la coque. Pour sa défense rapprochée, le Leopard 1 ARV est armé avec une mitrailleuse d'un calibre de 7,62 mm.
