According to a press release published on September 8, 2020, following a joint R&D program led by the Directorate of Defense Research and Development (DDR&D), in the Israel Ministry of Defense, with leading drone developer, XTEND, and the Combating Terrorism Technical Support Office (CTTSO), of the U.S. Department of Defense, an operational pilot program has been launched employing Sparrowhawk drones in the defense of U.S. Special Forces.

Contemporary concept of warfare is characterised by a requirement to replace personnel in all potentially dangerous and life-threatening situations. The Serbian Armed Forces have recognised this requirement and on those very grounds they have developed and introduced in arms and military equipment system a remotely controlled fighting unmanned ground platform “Miloš N”.

Pictures have just popped up on Caesar@Ninja998998’s Twitter account, showing two of the M113 APCs that the U.S Army had modified to make them somwhat look like BMP-1s and to use them as OPFOR (OPPosition FORce) vehicles for training in the 1980s and 1990s. They were sold to Lebanon which apparently (these pictures are not dated) continues t use them.
