General Dynamics Land Systems – UK unveils a further variant of its best-in-class AJAX Family of Vehicles (FoV). The Brimstone Anti-tank Guided Missile 'Overwatch' variant, demonstrated in collaboration with MBDA, could operate in the vanguard of the British Army's future Heavy Brigade and Deep Recce Strike Combat Teams, providing vital force protection for the more dispersed force and ensuring the integrity of long-range persistent surveillance.

According to information published by the U.S. Army on April 23, 2021, the 5th Battalion, 4th Air Defense Artillery Regiment (5-4 ADA), a subordinate unit under the 10th Army Air and Missile Defense Command has received the first Mobile Short Range Air Defense (M-SHORAD) systems based on Stryker A1 8x8 armored vehicle.

This takes place as soon as the trajectory indicates an imminent impact in the respective safety area and the system simultaneously provides reliable data on the firing position at an early stage to facilitate necessary countermeasures.

Polus-ST LLC announces additional mobile network administration and visual surveillance capabilities for the Radiobarrier Wireless Perimeter Security System. A new Camera Trap Kit (CTK) with a GSM module allows receiving and transmitting system data between the deployed Radiobarrier sensors and the remote command and control centre through mobile internet protocols.

Lancet and KYB loitering munitions of Zala Aero company were engaged in strikes at terrorist targets in Syria, Rossiya 1 TV channel reported. It showed Lancet with a 3-kg warhead taking off from a catapult. The sorties took place in Idleb province and targeted terrorists of Hayat Tahrir al-Sham group, which is outlawed in Russia. The loitering munition was accompanied by a drone, which detected a pickup with terrorist warlords. The target was destroyed by the warhead. Other footage showed Lancet destroying a machinegun point of terrorists. However, Rossiya 1 report about KYB engagement during the attack in Idleb in October 2015 is dubious, as the loitering munition was presented only in 2019.

The Lithuanian Ministry of Defense announced on April 14 that the U.S. donated to Lithuania M72 LAWs (Light Antitank Weapon) which will be used to arm the National Defence Volunteer Force of the Lithuanian Armed Forces. This is not the first time the United States boosts the Lithuanian defence by investing several tens of millions of dollars in its weaponry.

Hanwha Defense has signed an exclusive teaming agreement with Oshkosh Defense for the digital design phase of the US Army's next-generation combat vehicle program. The agreement is followed by Hanwha Defense's recent success in Australia's LAND 400 Phase 3 armored vehicle modernization program and LAND 8116's acquisition of the AS9 Self-Propelled Howitzer and AS10 fully-automated Armored Ammunition Resupply Vehicle.
