At Defense & Security 2017, Nurol Makina presents its capabilities. Nurol Makina is a Turkish company founded in 1976 specialized in the land platform sector for the local and global defense and security industry. Nurol Makina designs innovative 4x4 armored vehicles with high cost efficiency.

The Nurol Makina range of vehicles is composed of 5 platforms: The NMS 4x4, a light tactical armored vehicle; the Ejder Yalçin, a 4x4 tactical wheeled armored vehicle; the Ejder Toma, an anti-riot vehicle; the Ilgaz II, an internal security vehicle and the Ejder Kunter, a logistics support vehicle.

The Ejder Yalçin 4x4 is an armored personnel carrier, unveiled in May 2013 at IDEF Turkish Defense exhibition. It is the most distributed platform of Nurol Makina with veicles sold to Turkey, Tunisia and Uzbekistan which recently ordered an important number of vehicles.

The Ejder Yalçin is 4x4 APC using V-shaped hull design, integrating floating floor plates and blast mitigation seating offering high level of protection against mine and IED (Improvised Explosive Device) blast. The Ejder of Turkish army is fitted with one open turret with armour plates on 360°, armed with one 12.7mm heavy machine gun.

The Ejder layout is conventional for a wheeled APC with the engine at the front, driver and commander in the middle and troops compartment at the rear. The vehicle is able to carried a total of 11 military personnel.
