The
Atlaf 1 is a special-purpose armoured heavy terrain
vehicle designed for transportation of military
and/or police units. The vehicle is designed and
manufactured by the Czech Company SVOS. At this
time the Atlaf 1 is only a draft study.
The
basic Atlaf 1 from SVOS can be equipped
with one 7.62 mm or 12,7 mm machine gun.
The Atlaf 1 can be fitted with a remote
controlled weapon station armed with weapons
up to 12.7 mm calibre or a 40 mm calibre
automatic grenade launcher.
Protection
The
Atlaf 1 provides all-around crew and passenger
ballistic protection against standard and
special ammunition and against AP/AT mines
and hand grenades in compliance with STANAG
4569.
Mobility
The
Atlaf 1 SVOS uses a 4x4 chassis. The vehicle
is motorized with a Cummins 306 kW engine
coupled to an Allison 6 speed automatic
transmission.
Accessories
In
option, the Atlaf 1 SVOS can be equipped
with run flat system, NBC protection, recovery
winch, and fire suppression system.
