The
ZFB08 is the new version of the ZFB05 4x4 light
wheeled armoured personnel carrier. The ZBF08 was
presented for the first time in November 2008 durring
the Defense in Exbition in Greece, Defendory. The
ZBF08 uses a 6x6 chassis, with a lengthened hull.
The ZFB08 has been developed primarily for export,
with company officials citing Africa as the main
potential market.

The
primary weapon is a 12.7mm machine gun mounted
on the roof. Alternatively the ZFB08 can
be armed with a 23 mm cannon or 35 mm automatic
grenade launcher. The gunner is provided
with a single-piece hatch cover that opens
to the rear. The small turret does not have
a roof.
Protection
The
ZFB08 has an all-steel armored hull, which
provides protection against small arms
fire and artillery shell splinters. The
vehicle body is the full closed down structure.
The isotope anti-bullet protecting steel
plates of the vehicle body have been adopted
and welded. The V-form anti-bullet structure
has been set up under the vehicle bottom.
The same degree anti-bullet glasses are
competely installed on all windows of
the vehicle body. One single door is mounted
to each side of the vehicle, and another
to the rear of the hull.
Propulsion
The
vehicle has adopted Model IVECO-NJ2046 military
4 x 4 cross-country chassis with Model SOFIM
8142.43 87kw turbo-charging inter-cooling
diesel motor while the bearing distance
is 2800mm,or with Model SOFlM 8142.45 98kw
turbo-charging inter-cooling diesel motor
while the bearing distance is 3310mm.
Accessories
There
is one single big hatch to the rear of the
top crew compartment.. The ZBF08 can be
easily transported in a C-130 aeroplane
and up, or CH-47, MH-47 and CH-53 helicopters.
