Le
Leopard 1A5 est un char de combat principal, il est armé
d'un canon de 105 mm, d'une mitrailleuse coaxiale de 7,62
mm et d'une mitrailleuse antiaérienne de 7,62 mm.
C'est la dernière version utlisée par l'armée
belge, qui sera remplacé d'ici deux ans par le véhicule
blindé à roues Piranha IIIC, armé d'une
tourelle CMI Defence avec canon de 90 mm.
