HGH Infrared Systems for the first time at AUSA with new Spynel X 360° thermal imaging system.
HGH Infrared Systems based in Cambridge MA, will be exhibiting for the first time at AUSA with their new and exciting 360 degree thermal imaging system, Spynel X. The Spynel X is the latest addition to the award-wining Spynel family (with three other distinct models for all different types of surveillance applications) whose unique and innovative sensors allow for a complete, panoramic image of an entire surrounding in near real-time.

Capturing, in real time, full panoramic images with an unequaled resolution of up to 120 Mpix., the Spynel-X is the IRST (Infrared Search&Track) with the best image quality.

Spynel’s software, Cyclope, additionally provides automatic intrusion detection and tracking of an unlimited amount of conventional and asymmetric threats, including UAVs, RHIBs, and crawling men, making the system ideal in providing critical wide area surveillance and continuous perimeter security for forward operating base protection, air and navy bases, oil refineries, nuclear plants, borders, coasts, ports and airports.

The Spynel X is the IRST with the best HD image quality, capturing full panoramic images with an unequaled resolution up to 120 Mpix., as well as the longest detection range on the market at up to 8 km for a human. Spynel X, like all Spynel, is a passive surveillance system that has incorporated all the latest thermal sensing innovations integrated into a rugged and field-proven design. A single Spynel X sensor can perform 24/7 early human intrusion alerts over a 16 km diameter and effectively replaces up to ninety MWIR cameras in one sensor head. A testament to its long range surveillance capabilities, the Spynel X was awarded the 2014 Best Video Tracking/Wide Area/Long Range Surveillance from Government Security News’ Airport, Seaport, and Border Security Awards Program. The Spynel systems have been deployed and proven in theatre since 2008, performing under strenuous conditions, in total darkness and demanding weather conditions.

The 2014 AUSA Annual Meeting and Exposition will take place from October 13th to the 15th at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center, HGH Infrared Systems and the Spynel X will be at Booth 3416. AUSA has been and will continue to be an important show for HGH Infrared Systems, as Vanessa Couturier, General Manager states, “the AUSA show has always been a great venue for us to meet with our partners and government clients. We are always excited to launch our latest solutions at this Expo in our continued efforts to support the US Army and keep our soldiers safe”.
