Russian Army showcases fighting capabilities of its tanks and infantry fighting vehicles

Russia’s Army is showing the combat capabilities of tanks and infantry fighting vehicles at the Army 2017 international military and technical forum, the Defense Ministry’s press office said.
"Visitors of the forum will see the combat and running capabilities of the Russian main T-72B, T-72B3, T-80U-E1 and T-90A tanks at the Alabino training range in the Moscow Region. The tanks are operational with armored units and ground forces," the press office said. "Crews of BMP-2 and BMP-3 infantry fighting vehicles and BTR-82A armored personnel carriers will demonstrate their skills and the combat potential of their military hardware too," the press office added.

According to the press office, the tanks and fighting vehicles will fire various types of their organic weapons in front of the audience. The visitors will also be shown the operational capabilities of more than 90 advanced weapon systems in service with the Army, including air defense and field artillery units. The Army 2017 international military and technical forum take place at the Patriot center in the Moscow Region from August 22 to August 27. The forum will be attended by representatives of more than 100 foreign countries.
