The 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division, currently on rotation as the ground component of the nation’s Global Response Force, began fielding and training on new equipment this week. Specifically, Soldier Plate Carrier Systems, medium rucksacks, and Light Tactical All Terrain Vehicles will make the quick response force more lighter, more agile and better tailored to the unique mission requirements of the GRF.
