Russia army unveils all the combat vehicles for the Victory Day Military Parade of May 9 2015.
Russia has officialy announced all the combat vehicles that will be shown for the Victory Day military parade on the Red Square in Moscow, May 9, 2015. The upcoming parade in Moscow will be the largest in history. Many new tanks and armoured vehicles will be unveiled to the public for the first time.
     
The T-14 Armata is the latest generation of Russian-made MBT (Main Battle Tank) developed and designed by the Russian Company Uralvagonzavod. The first deliveries of the tank to the Russian Armed Forces are scheduled for 2015. A total of 2,300 MBTs are expected to be supplied by 2020.

The Victory day parade on 9 may 2015 at the red square, the Russian capital is the largest: it will take part 194 units of armored vehicles, 150 aircraft and helicopters, 14 thousand military. For comparison: in the Victory Parade this year was attended by about 11 thousand people, 151 unit of equipment and 69 aircraft.

Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu said over 78,500 military servicemen and almost 2,000 pieces of military hardware will participate in Victory Day parades in Russia’s 28 cities.

In exclusivity, Army Recognitrion editorial team gives all technical details of the military vehicles that will participate in the parade.

The Defense Ministry plans to involve over 78,500 troops in military parades across the country, about 1,900 pieces of military hardware and equipment, 238 aircraft and 51 battle ships, the defense minister said.

The T-14 Armata is the latest generation of Russian-made MBT (Main Battle Tank) developed and designed by the Russian Company Uralvagonzavod. The first deliveries of the tank to the Russian Armed Forces are scheduled for 2015. A total of 2,300 MBTs are expected to be supplied by 2020.

The new unmanned remote turret would of the T-14 Armata be equipped with new generation of 125mm smoothbore gun with an automatic loader and 32 rounds ready to use. The first scale model of the Armata unveiled in July 2012 showed that the vehicle has a secondary weapon that could be a 57mm grenade launcher mounted on the left of the turret, and a machine gun 12.7 mm mounted on the right side.

The T-14 Armata would be composed of two main parts, the chassis with three crew members and an unmanned remote controlled turret weapons station.

The Tigr GAZ-2330 can be armed with light machine gun or grenade launcher. Hatches and brackets for installation of 7.62mm Pecheneg machinegun and 30mm AGS-17 grenade launchers are mounted on the vehicle’s roof. The windows of GAZ-233036 special police vehicles are equipped with firing ports.

The Kornet-D on Tigr-M GAZ 233116 armoured vehicle is a new ATGM (Anti-Tank Guided Missile) platform. It uses Kornet-EM missiles in both tandem-HEAT or thermobaric variants.

It is capable of launching a salvo of two missiles less than a second apart, either at a single target or at two different targets simultaneously at a range from 150 to 10.000 m.. The two-missile salvo is intended to either defeat active protection systems or to ensure a single tank's destruction in the absence of an active protection system.

Kornet-D is capable of a pseudo-fire-and-forget function, in that the fire control system of the missile launchers automatically tracks and guides each missile to their assigned targets without an operator's aid. The operator may switch targets or override missile guidance during the missile's flight.

The layout of the Kamaz-63968 Typhoon-K is based on a Kamaz-6396 armoured cab chassis, with the engine behind the cab and the troop compartment at the rear. The soldiers enter and leave the Kamaz-63968 Typhoon via a single door at the rear of the troop compartment.

The Kamaz-63968 Typhoon is also protected against landmines and IEDs. It is claimed that this armored truck can withstand 8 kg TNT blast thanks to its V-hull.
     
     
The Ural-63095 Typhoon also called Typhoon-U was developed under a request from the Russian Ministry of Defence, its a new armoured truck personnel carrier which involve lot of Russian defence companies. The Ural-63095 was unveiled in September 2010 at the REA 2011, Russian Expo Arms Defence Exhibition in Nizhny Tagil, Russia.

The Ural-63095 Typhoon can be equipped with a remote weapon station mounted on the top of the crew compartment. This weapon system can be armed with a machine gun up to 14.5 mm calibre.

The layout of the Ural-63095 Typhoon is based on a standard truck, with the engine at the front, crew compartment in the middle, and the cargo are at the rear. The soldiers enter and leave the Ural-63095 Typhoon via a single door at the rear of the troop compartment. The crew cabin and the rear compartment are fully enclosed and provide a protection against firing of small arm and shell splinters.

It is an upgraded variant of the BMD-4 (BMD-3M). It is an upgraded variant of the BMD-4 (BMD-3M). The BMD-4M is fitted with a two-man turret armed with a 2A70 100mm caliber gun, coupled to a 30mm 2A72 cannon and a 7.62mm PKT coaxial machine gun mounted to the right of the main armament. The 100mm gun uses an automatic loader with 34 rounds of 100mm ready to fire and 18 in reserve. The main gun can fire conventional types of ammunitions and also the 100mm laser-guided ammunition Arkan Tandem 9M117M1 which can be used against modern main battle tanks at a maximum range of 5,500m and against sheltered and exposed personnel and fortifications at a maximum range of 7,000m.

This version seems to be equipped with a small turret armed with one 12.7mm or 7,62mm machine gun.

The BTR Kurganets-25 will use the common chassis of the Kurganets tracked vehicle platform. The Kurganets-25 will have modular armor that can be upgraded for specific threats. Each side of the hull is also protected with passive armour protection.

Three smoke grenade dischargers are mounted either side at the front of the turret. The turret is also equipped with an automatic loading system. Iskander Missile SS-26 Stone is a short range tactical missile system developed and produced in Russia. The system replaces the Oka SS-23 SPIDER which had been terminated under the Intermediate Nuclear Forces (INF) Treaty. Development of the system was undertaken by the Kolomna Engineering Design Bureau development during the 1990s under the project name "Tender".

The Iskander missile system is equipped with two independently targeted short-range ballistic missiles. Each missile has a length of 7.3m, body diameter of 0.92m and weight of 3,800kg. The missile can be re-targeted during flight to engage moving targets.

Iskander can carry 480kg of conventional warheads including HE fragmentation, submunition, penetration, fuel-air explosive and electro-magnetic pulse. The minimum firing range of the missile is 50km and the maximum is 280km. Iskander is powered by a single-stage solid-propellant engine.

The Buk-M2 can engage a wide variety of targets from aircraft to missiles flying at an altitude of between 10 and 24,000 m out a maximum range of 50 km in given conditions. The SA-17 Grizzly can engage simultaneous of up to 24 targets flying from any direction.

The Pantsir-S1 (SA-22 Greyhound NATO code name) is an air defense missile-gun system designed to protect vital small-size and big military areas, industrial targets and land forces units and reinforced the air defense units responsible for the protection of troops and military installations against precision-guided air attack from low and extreme low altitudes.

The armament of Pantsir-S1 consists of twelve 57E6 surface-to-air guided missiles and two 2A38M30-millimetre automatic guns developed from the two-barreled 30mm GSh-30 gun. It is provided with multi-range radar capable of detecting aerial targets with effective surface of dispersion of up to 2-3 square meters at a distance of more than 30 kilometers and track them down from a distance of over 24 kilometers.

The S-400 Triumph uses the 9M96E and 9M96E2 missiles. The S-400 Triumph can also use the 48N6E missile of the S-300 PMU-1 system and 48N6E2 missiles of the S-300 PMU-2 Favorit system. The 48N6E missile was successfully test-fired the 12 February 1999. The possibility of using AD missiles with various effective ranges ensures the system modular capability that makes it possible to set up layered air defense and non-strategic anti-missiles defense systems. The S-400 missile has a maximum range of 400 km and can hit all air targets wit high accuracy.
     
     
The Yars RS-24 Is a Russian-made mobile nuclear intercontinental ballistic missile which can be mounted on truck carrier or deployed in silos. The first production of Yars began in 2004. The layout of the vehicle is similar to the Topol-M SS-27. Russia fully deployed the first Yars RS-24 regiment consisting of three battalions in August 2011, and put two battalions of the second regiment on combat duty on December 27 last year.

The missile RS-24 is a three-stage, solid propellant, MIRV-capable (Multiple Independently Targetable Reentry Vehicles) ICBM (InterContinental Ballistic Missile) with a range of 10,500 km.
