The vehicle is actually a Counter-battery radar system developed by LIG Nex1 for the ROK Army and intended to replace the existing SAAB ARTHUR systems.

According to a company representative, the system is capable of precisely locating and identifying the type of threat (shells or rockets) as well as tracking their trajectory. It is a mobile, active electronically scanned array C-Band radar (with 3,000 TR transmitter/receiver modules) for the purpose of enemy field artillery acquisition.

The entire system fits on a single vehicle (8x8 Hanwha chassis): the radar, operation shelter and the power generator. Total vehicle weight is 8,866 Kg.

ROK Army is the launch customer but LIG Nex1 is already actively marketing the system to countries in the Sea East Asia and Baltic regions.
