The new South African ZPX parachute will be presented at AAD 2012 Aerospace & Defence Exhibition in South Africa. ZPX is stronger; lighter; thinner; with reduced pack volume compared with traditional parachute nylon ripstop zero porosity (or zero air permeability / airflow fabric) and which significantly reduces the effects of damage to the fabric.

Leading global armour specialist MTL Group has been awarded a significant contract to supply fabricated armoured hulls to Panzer Technologies for its Mamba Vehicle. The armoured vehicles which are intended for use in peace keeping operations will be manufactured at MTL Group Headquarters in the UK then shipped ready for final assembly to South Africa.
